Clean Water
Water is essential, water is life. Many people still do not have access to clean water in remote and poor communities in Bangladesh. The women, children and the elderly suffer the most from the water crisis.
Giving water is one of the best forms of service to the needy that one can provide. This is Sadaqah Jariya, providing a lifeline that keeps on giving water to needy communities.
HABUN has built hundreds of clean water wells that are providing free clean water to poor and needy people
In the remote communities in Bangladesh. The cost of water wells varies depending on the condition of the location. In normal districts in Bangladesh,
the cost is $250, in cyclone-affected/coastal districts it is $500 and in the Rohingya refugee camp, it is $ 2500 due to the hilly region.
You can donate to a well; your Sadaqah can ensure a long-lasting reward. Please donate water wells on behalf of your parents and loved ones.

How it works
Once you donate, your water well is designated to the relevant partner offices
The well is either assigned to the country of your choice, or if you’ve selected ‘where most needed’, the location is determined by our experts in the field.
Our teams build your water well in the community with greatest need
After establishing relationships with communities and carrying out needs assessments, our officers on the ground determine exactly where to build the wells
You receive a feedback report to show the impact of your donation
Once your well is constructed, expect to receive a comprehensive report with images and more information about the community you have helped
